    The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in The Hague hosted on the 15th of December the Esperanto Evening to commemorate the 158th birth anniversary of Ludwik Zamenhof, who invented the Esperanto language.

    Ms Agnieszka Kajdanowska talked about the history of the city of Białystok, Ludwik Zamenhof and the Białystok Esperanto Association. Mr Jerzy Jurczyński introduced the participants to the history of Esperanto and the city of Białystok. Ms Katalin Kovats taught everyone the basics of this fascinating language. Band Kajto performed songs in Esperanto. Mr Maciej Wierzchołowski played the piano.
